How to become an

Active Kids Tutor

  • STEP 1: Apply online. 

  • STEP 2: Attend your interview. If you meet our requirements, you will be invited for an interview.

  • STEP 3: Our agency reviews and verifies your references

  • STEP 4: Sign your contract with our agency

  • STEP 5: Start Tutoring!

NB Requirements

  • 70%+ in grade 12 for the subject you wish to tutor

  • Strong academic

  • All tutors are required to complete the Safeguarding Course from The Guardian

  • Excellent with time management

  • Studying or graduated

  • A passion for children and teaching

  • Reliable, committed and trustworthy

  • Have lots of patience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Reliable car

  • No criminal record

  • Matric Certificate

  • Tutoring Experience is a BONUS

  • Childcare related CV

  • Contactable references

  • Non-Smoker
